Before the original Bruce Arena burned to the ground, the Gateway Curling Club curled on the rink surface of the arena. Ever since the new Bruce was built the club has 2 actual sheets of ice at their disposal, as well as a beautiful lounge area and bar. It is also equipped with two overhead cameras, to view the action at the other end of the rink.

The Gateway Curling Club has league play for Men's, Women's, Mixed and Juniors. The Junior Curling Club boasts one of the highest enrollment numbers in the province for a town it's size.

Every year we notice more interest with this sport. We currently have about 90 full time senior members to go along with the 30 or so junior members. It makes for a pretty successful club, and a real good time.
