The Town of Channel-Port aux Basques wishes to advise that we are currently undergoing some Safety Issues with our Snow Dumping Areas and have to find alternative locations to dump snow. Until these issues have been resolved, it may take longer for the snow to be removed from Town streets. We are working with Occupational Health and Safety Branch of Service NL to find solutions to the problems.

The Town apologizes for any inconveniences caused by this and wishes to thank residents for their patience, cooperation and understanding.
