Regional Waste Management Site

The South West Coast region has recently unveiled a new regional waste management site for the area. This site will be the main collection and redistribution centre for the residents of the region, which will be located on the Trans Canada Highway at the former town incinerator site. In addition to the waste collection services of the Town of Channel-Port aux Basques, the site will accept waste from individual residents.

Hours of Operation:
Monday thru Saturday: 9am – 5pm

Electronic Product Recycling

Consumers and businesses in Newfoundland and Labrador can responsibly recycle their end-of-life electronics (FREE OF CHARGE), simply by bringing their old or unwanted products to the EPRA Drop-off Centre located at 14 Grand Bay West Road.

Spring Cleanup

Each year, the town undertakes a spring cleanup that allows residents to discard normal unaccepted refuge. For two select weeks, the town will accept and transport additional waste that is taken to the regional waste management site free of charge.
