The Council of Channel-Port aux Basques hosts public meetings the first and third Tuesday of each month to discuss and make decisions on matters pertinent to the community. However, during summer months the Council holds one regular monthly meeting. The general public is always welcome.

For any member of the community who may want to submit correspondence to be discussed at a scheduled meeting or request to speak at a meeting, must have their letter/request submitted to the Town Office no later than the Friday prior.
